I've been hiding my Great Bustard painting strated 2 weeks ago. The reason is that I had problems with it.
This is the very first stage, the pencil composition plan:

I had to restart the whole thing because of some unevenness of priming. Here's the new canvasboard, with slightly different composition:

I haven't done any photographs during the work, only this. Here the colours are put up rougly. I've changed the pole of the well a bit for better understanding:

You have to wait for the finished painting for 1-2 days. Here's an evening photo of my studio (currently our dining room). Note the Bustard feather amoung my brushes:
