This male Red-footed Falcon was painted for BirdLife Hungary's LIFE project on this species. It's in gouache (30x21 cm), the original is for sale for 110 EUR.

This is the time to look for my favourite bird, the Firecrest! I've visited a small schrubby hill close to my home where I regularly see this species. I was lucky to find a pair, and could make a few sketches (it was not easy):














I'm totally satisfied with the drawing below. I think I could catch the bird's character quite well.













This Firecrest illustration was done 2 years ago, from photographs. I'm not so satisfied with it now, I find the above drawing (which was done from a restless modell) more Firecrest-ish.

I'm happy to announce that my 2nd son was born this morning!

But there was some time to finish this Spotted Crake illustration. The original is not for sale. I would like to keep it for the memory of this day.

I've been sketching with my friend at a fishpond system not far from my home. We haven't been very producting, I can show only a few pages of Ruff, Black-tailed Godwit and Lapwing:

I've introduced our smaller Owls in the new, spring issue of Madártávlat (magazine of BirdLife Hungary).

These 2 posters were published recently by NIMFEA Nature Conservation Association. They try to help the identification of our protected duck species, and those that can be shot with the addition of 2 of our Geese.
