I've finished the oil painting of the Shorebirds. I gave the title 'We are all youngs', because all the 6 birds are juveniles (which is typical on autumn migration as adult leave earlier). There are 3 Dunlins, 1 Little Stint, 1 Ruff and a Pectoral Sandpiper on it.
This painting will be on display at this year's British Birdwatching Fair in middle August.











Here's a detail, the Little Stint. I've tried to find a midway between illustrational and loose style.
