I've just completed the Indian Pitta painting. Probably I'll have a look at ti with fresh eye tomrrow and add minor details, but the overall image won't change:

It's oil on canvasboard, its size is 36 x 50 cm.

Very nice painting Szabi. I am curious about how bright and warm the finished painting is compared to the previous version. Is that due to the photograph or did you really brighten it up that much? Either way it's a very nice painting. I like the watercolor as well.

Thank you very much for all your kind comments!
The only difference between the finished and the previous version is that I added a shade darker shadows to the darkest parts under and between the leaves, and that I've painted bright patches on the sunlit parts of the leaves.
The overall colour is the same. I think I've photographed the final version in a slightly different light condition, and not laying on the ground, but put up vertically. So the sky is not reflected on it directly as is on the previous version. It's very difficult to have a photo that is very close to the original. But I think the photo of the final version is closer to the colours of the original.
