My greeting card series is at last published! I chose the following 9 paintings to feature them:

I would like to thank everyone who helped to choose the paintings. As I promised, I drew one name from the hat. The lucky winner is Andreas Noeske who sent the list in email to me! Congratulations, I'm posting the cards!

The cards are for sale for 1 EUR/piece (7 EUR for a complete set).
The 1st Pannonian Bird Experience was held this weekend in Illmitz, Austria.
I was exhibiting with my friends, Stefan Boensch and Péter Csonka.

We could not spend much time in the field, but this beautiful male Common Redstart made me really happy:

To my surprise I came 2nd place in the official bird quiz competition! Surprized as it was after several glasses of good wine.

I'm delighted to show you this recently published book written by my friend, Aasheesh Pittie. It is a bibliography of 300 years of South Asian ornithology. I'm privileged to have my Indian Pitta painting on the cover of this important book. It is definately a milestone moment in my artist carrier.

At last I could start dealing with the Snow Leopard theme. First I would like to understand the character of this species (which I find really difficult). I made these pencil drawings from photos:

In the next days I'll try to visit a zoo in southern Hungary where they keep and breed Snow Leopards.
