I got the news about a possible Grasshopper Warbler singing near my home. Yesterday and today early morning I went there. It turned out to be River Warbler, probably even better! I sketched it, here're 2 from this morning.

The bird was really confiding, this is an uncropped digiscoped photo:

There's a rocky outcrop in the middle of Budapest with unique plant and animal life. It's protected, and a new visitor center has been built (opening tomorrow). Behind the building there's a white wall with a chimney, and I was commissioned to decorate this surface. I painted 5 Lizzards (3 species) and a Ladybird Spider. See more information about this site here: www.sas-hegy.hu.

I've painted these Spon-billed Sandpipers for the Bangladesh Spoon-billed Sandpiper Conservation Project. I'm honoured to contribute to their work!

I love sketching singing birds, they are good models. These sketches were done by the river in the previous days. Savi's Warbler, Nightingales and Sedge Warblers.
